Welcome Us. Welcome You.

With a little less than a week left before we turn the key and start our lives in Olde Florida I am filled with: excitement, nostalgia, stress, apprehension, and creative inspiration. When I think of our new home--a montage....

A Welcome To You!

It continues to be my dream to document and share our life. I can't imagine that our blog would be much different than most- Here, Under Our Canopy we: grow things*organically*, create, cook and bake things together.

I soon will be cultivating and creating our online shop and it has been a year in the making all of the fine tuning is being done and I feel more inspired each day.

This year we will begin home-learning based on Waldorf Traditions, enthralled with seasonal living and unbridled creativity our children's learning journey is a vital priority in our home.

Along the way there are sure to be: scraped knees, runny noses and bumps of all kinds(figurative and literal). We will share how we treat them with a different approach. We believe strongly in living organically and feeding our bodies what they need to function at optimal levels: this also includes naturopathy and holistic healing.

This is Papa's first year in trying holistic healing as an avenue to better his life-I hope to get his perspective to share with you as well.

There are four of us: I'm Amanda, My soul's mate, a man they call Papa is Chris and Our rays of light- Zia and Bria.

Our home in Central Florida lies under a canopy of Camphor and Oak trees drenched in Spanish Moss and sits across the lake whilst the songs of owls coo-us to sleep each night. Join us as we find our ritual of living, will you? I hope to be of some inspiration along the way.
